Investment in Uganda
Uganda being a politically stable country, it has been a destination for most investors all over the world. Investment in agriculture, industry, manufacturing, education, real estate, tourism, oil,banking, and health sectors is very lucrative. Most tourists come here and end up coming back as investors in different sectors. Some have ended up making this a permanent home because its irresistible to leave such good climate.
Investors in Uganda have been encouraged especially by the head of state and he has created an enabling environment for them in terms of security, tax holidays, land, and expedited processes of having their registrstion, certification and work permits. This is why Uganda’s GDP has gradually increased. Uganda investment authority is a body responsible for registering investors and providing them with all information regarding investing in Uganda.
