5 Days Queen Elizabeth & Gorilla Tracking Bwindi

An amazing 5 Days Queen Elizabeth and Gorilla tracking Bwindi Safari to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park south-west of Uganda to have an experience gorilla trekking interact with the gentle giants, take photos and later on, to Queen Elizabeth national park for the tree climbing lions as the main spot.

Take this off the beaten track Uganda Safari with stunning views of the landscape and spectacular game views of the wildlife of Bwindi forest park and Queen Elizabeth National Park. This 5 days Uganda Safari is a great way to explore Uganda’s beauty and later descending on the Mountain gorillas found in a Bwindi forest.

Day 1: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
You will be picked up from your hotel and start your journey to South West of Uganda stopping by the equator for splendid photography. Lunch en-route. Within hours, you’ll be in Queen Elizabeth National Park, ready for an evening game drive through the park.

This park is the second largest National park in Uganda neighbouring crater lake Edward and lake George linked by the Kazinga channel. Check into your preferred lodge.
Drive Time: 6 – 8 hours

Day 2: GAME DRIVE AND LAUNCH CRUISE
Very early breakfast and early morning game drive through the park. Possible encounters include lions, buffaloes, kobs, Elephants, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs and others. Return to the lodge for lunch and then go on the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight accommodation as the previous night.

Day 3: CHIMPANZEE TREK AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI
After early breakfast, depart to the beautiful Kyambura gorge for the chimpanzee trekking. The reserve is located on a 100m deep gorge, south of Queen Elizabeth national park and Lake Edward. Look out for the birds residing by the riverine swamps and forest such as herons, kingfishers, fish eagles, and much more.

Proceed towards Ishasha River, south of the park, a popular sight with tree climbing lions. Reach Bwindi forest by evening and check into your choice of accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: GORILLA TREKKING DAY
Early breakfast, proceed with packed lunch and a bottle of water into the tropical rainforest for gorilla trekking activity. Receive prior briefing by the ranger officials then head straight into the forest. The trek is unpredictable and could last up to 6 or more hours. Watch these creatures as they feed, play and grumble to each other while you take their pictures. Dinner and overnight as the previous night.

Day 5: TRANSFERS TO KAMPALA
This day is reserved for the transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe with lunch en-route.
