OWINO MARKET: While in Uganda, you will be able to get anything that you want. Second hand clothes are sold in Owino market and many of the boutique operators shop from this place and stock their shops. This market usually sells second hand imported products from all over the world but most especially Europe.
KATWE
A place called katwe is a hub for second-hand machinery ranging from Bicycles, house utensils and other household items, industrial machinery and spare parts and fabrication of any nature. This is a place where the skills in local artisan are utilized to its maximum. Most of the vehicles spare parts are imported from Japan, the UK and other parts of the world. This is a place where the famous film “QUEEN OF KATWE” was acted from.
KISENYI
Kisenyi is a place where one gets to access and see the market for Ugandan grain including maize, beans, and other cereals. It’s also a place where all kinds of fabrication are done from including fabrication of vehicle body parts like trucks and all kind of garages are in this area.
KISEKA
A famous market called Kiseka market is a hub for vehicle spare parts only and there is a lot of garage work that takes place in this area.
SHAURI YAKO
Shauri Yako market is another downtown market where one finds a collection of building and construction materials. Anything regarding building, constructions tools, and machinery are found in this place.
