Uganda gorilla trekking permits for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National park  cost 800 USD for foreign non residents, 700 USD per person for foreign residents and 300,000 UGX for East African residents.

Due to the few numbers of tourists who visit the country for gorilla trekking in the low seasons (March to may and October to November), it is much advisable for budget tourist to visit the country in such seasons. This is because of the rains which place a demand on the service providers such as in transportation, accommodation to cut their costs to attract more tourists to the country. Even though there are no more discounted gorilla permits in the low seasons, it is still cheaper to travel in these seasons due to the discounts offered on the other services.
