Day 1- Transfer to Volcanoes National Park ( Parc Nationale des Volcans )
After an early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel/ residence in Kigali and drive you to the park . It is home to the mountain gorillas, Dian fossey’s tomb and research center plus 5 of the 8 Virunga ranges. Road trips last aboiut 2 hours from Kigali city , check in at lodge and relax as you prepare for the next days adventure. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge/ hottel/ guesthouse.

Day 2 – Gorilla trekking & Departure.
After an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park quarters for briefing from the park guides and last minute preparations. With your packed lunch , bottled water and potters, you will be led to the Virungas for an adventure of a lifetime. Gorilla tracking inVolcanoes park last about 4- 5 hours depending on the current location of the gorillas and requires a good level of body fitness that can endure the long treks and weather. You will be given only an hour in the midst of the gorillas , take pictures (non-flash) and observe them as they swing around , feed and communicate with each other in the wild.

You will be driven back to the lodge after the trek , check out and prepare for transfer back to Kigali ending the trip.
