Overview

Faith Tourism experience which takes you through first Christian Missionaries and Martyrs trails. This ends up Namugongo, East of Kampala where 45 (22Catholics and 23Anglicans) Uganda Martyrs were burnt alive to ash, by Kabaka Mwanga II of Buganda Kingdom on 3rd June 1886 as well as Munyonyo martyrs Shrines, where the four were killed.

This was Because of their refusal to renounce Christianity. Pope Paul VI canonized and regarded them as Saints on 18th Oct 1964. Pilgrims often wash in the pond or drink water from it, regarding it as Holy source because Martyrs washed the place with their blood. Tripcare Adventures is ready to take you through this, in a great memorable experience with Uganda Martyrs celebration, which is regarded as a public holiday in Uganda on every 3rd June every year.
