2 DaysEmbark on a guided adventure in Parc Nationale des Volcans in search of the infamous mountain gorillas. The park is bordered by Virunag a national park in Congo and Mgahinga park in Uganda offering opportunities for a variety of tourist activities including mountain hiking, bird watching as well as nature walks.

- 1 Gorilla permit per person (US$ 1500)
- Rwanda Entry visa (Open to most Countries).
- Meals that are not part of your accommodation.
- A porter for during the gorilla tracking (someone who carries your daypack)
- Personal (medical/travel) insurance.
- Government tax or park fees increase.
- Tips and gratuities to rangers, driver/guide, porter, hotel staff, etc.
- All expenses of personal nature. (e.g. drinks, laundry, optional activities, souvenirs etc.)
Itinerary
After an early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel/ residence in Kigali and drive you to the park . It is home to the mountain gorillas, Dian fossey’s tomb and research center plus 5 of the 8 Virunga ranges. Road trips last about 2 hours from Kigali city , check in at lodge and relax as you prepare for the next days adventure. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge/ hotel / guesthouse.
After an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park quarters for briefing from the park guides and last minute preparations. With your packed lunch , bottled water and potters, you will be led to the Virungas for an adventure of a lifetime. Gorilla tracking inVolcanoes park last about 4- 5 hours depending on the current location of the gorillas and requires a good level of body fitness that can endure the long treks and weather. You will be given only an hour in the midst of the gorillas , take pictures (non-flash) and observe them as they swing around , feed and communicate with each other in the wild.
You will be driven back to the lodge after the trek , check out and prepare for transfer back to Kigali ending the trip.
